Una di queste notti One of these nights
mentre tu dormi tremante di paure… while you sleep trembling with fear...
agirò nel buio I will act in the dark
e finirò di avvolgerti and I will finish wrapping you
nella perenne oscurità. in the everlasting darkness.
Non tollero più I no longer tolerate
i tuoi strazianti e silenziosi your heartbreaking and silent

lamenti di condannato condemned man's cries
i tuoi muti interrogativi your dumb questions
i tuoi denti che battono your teeth beating
per il freddo che ci sovrasta. for the cold that overwhelms us.
Basterà nasconderti It will be enough to hide yourself
sotto un cumulo di neve under a snowbank
sotto un ponte bombardato under a bombed bridge
dietro una finestra divelta behind a window
dietro la schiena curva della behind the curved back of consciousness...
coscienza... Tonight, my child,
Stanotte, bimbo mio, I will kill you to escape the horror.
ti ucciderò per sottrarti all'orrore.
